Selected country: Italy (+39). This page matches OpenAI with that country selection so you can review the relevant temporary phone number option before continuing.
OpenAI is the AI research company behind ChatGPT, GPT-4, and the OpenAI API. Access to ChatGPT and the API developer platform requires account verification via phone number to prevent abuse and ensure fair usage limits.
OpenAI requires SMS verification when creating accounts for ChatGPT or accessing the API platform. A SimCode virtual number lets you register for OpenAI services, set up developer API keys, or create additional accounts for testing.
Italian virtual numbers use the +39 country code and connect through Italian mobile operators in the EU. Italy's digital market is significant in Southern Europe, and local numbers are needed for Italian banking apps, government services, and platforms that geo-restrict to EU member states.
Italian +39 numbers are verified through EU-compliant carriers, making them suitable for European services requiring an EU-based phone number for registration.
You can get temporary phone numbers in Italy for websites, apps, and internet services.
You will be able to view the price per action after selecting the service and country.
